Contemporary 18 Karat Gold Green Orchid Pearl Diamond and Sapphire Drop Earrings
About the Item
A vibrant pair of floral earrings masterfully created by hand. Each one features the entire bloom of an actual green orchid captured at the moment of its perfection and transformed to preserve its beauty for eternity. The flower supports a delicate dragonfly set with diamonds, while a 9-carat black Tahitian pearl drops, suspended by a row of sapphires.
These earrings convert into a second pair - the chain of sapphires and pearl neatly unhook from the back of the orchid, making them into a second pair of earrings without the drop.
A burnt orange-coloured sapphire winks from the centre of each earring and draws the eye in to reveal the intricate contrast of the black diamonds on the dragonfly's body and its white diamond-set wings.
These fish hook-backed earrings are as much an objet d'art as a precious jewel, inspired by and made directly from the brilliance and wonder of the natural world. It is possible to recreate these earrings with post backs or with French clips but once customized, they are not returnable.
