"Mom's Halo" Freeform Mother of Pearl Danglies with 0.33ct Diamonds in Rose Gold
About the Item
As he often does, Eytan Brandes made the halos for these earrings before he picked out the stones. Then we did our usual routine of considering eight hundred different stones -- many arguments! many impractical suggestions! many jumps down many gemstone rabbit holes! -- but mother of pearl finally won the day. Lustrous and light-loving in graceful polished freefrom slices, they're the perfect "angels" to wear halos of frisky white diamonds with the unexpected contrast of rose gold.
The diamonds: 66 tiny round, pavé-set brilliant cuts totaling 0.33 carats. These are earth-mined and untreated stones, probably in the G-H color range and VS1-2 clarity range.
Effortlessly elegant, with shepherd's hook closures, in 14 karat rose gold.
