About the Item
A pair of Georgian diamond pendant earrings, each with a central old-cut diamond weighing approximately 0.7 carats, surrounded by an old-cut diamond cluster, each cluster suspended from a flexible run of smaller old-cut diamonds, all to a diamond-set tops, the diamonds estimated to weigh a further total of 1.5 carats for the pair, all set in silver to a yellow gold mount with yellow gold shepherd hook fitting, circa 1830, measuring approximately 4.3 x 1.3cm, gross weight 4.3 grams.
Unmarked tested as silver front, 15ct gold back and 18ct gold hooks. A pair of Georgian diamond earrings in good condition for its age, later addition fittings.
