Victorian 15 Karat Yellow Gold Etruscan Hanging Gold Urn Earrings
About the Item
A stunning pair of Etruscan urn earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Crafted in 15kt yellow gold, each 3-dimensional shaped piece displays a smoothly polished surface with wonderful Etruscan details. Adorning the front surface of each urn are delicate beads and lovely swirled wirework, forming a gorgeous Etruscan design. Grecian-style handles rest at either side, embellished with a fantastic twisted rope border, adding a wonderful eye-catching textured accent. The urns swing from a complimentary topper the rests at the center of the handles, and attached at the top are simple wires, allowing the earrings to dangle with lovely movement. Thanks to their hollow design, the earrings are lightweight and comfortable for everyday wear. A fabulous Victorian accessory, they frame the face beautifully and would make a special addition to any collection!
Each earring hangs approximately 2 3/8" long, including the wire at the top, and measures about 5/8" wide and thick.

Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The earring wires are secure and in good working order. The surface of the gold has a slight natural patina.
