Antique Etruscan revival earrings, 15k yellow gold
About the Item
A truly stunning pair of antique 15ct gold Etruscan revival style earrings.
They are dangly earrings the tops made up of a trefoil or club shaped column with delicate cannetille detailing and wirework to the sides.
Suspended from here there is a smooth polished pendant adding drama and movement to the earrings.
The Etruscan revival manner was also known as the archeological movement, jewellery inspired by the archeological finds in Italy during an excavation in the mid to late 19th century.
There is just so much detail on this pair and they really are truly exceptional in design and craftsmanship.
No jewellery box is complete without a good pair of antique drop earrings and these make a wonderful gift for the lover of antique jewels.
They are hollow so are lightweight and easy to wear.

Victorian era, c1870s, unmarked, electronically test as 15ct gold.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear, some light surface wear commensurate with age.
