A very special and rare find, a pair of Antique French Paste Earrings crafted in France. Designed in the highly sought-after Pendeloque bow style, the earrings dating to the early Victorian Period yet influenced by the famed Portuguese style jewellery of the Georgian Period. Vintage Condition: Very good without damage or noteworthy wear. It is possible that the earrings originally comprised of three sections, the top section removed, and the hooks moved lower. This was not unusual with this style of earring if the owner wished to shorten an extremely long earring and is not detrimental to the look - on the contrary these earrings are a wonderful and rare find.
