About the Item

This gorgeous pair of antique earrings was crafted in solid 14k gold during the Victorian era and feature an oval brilliant cut sapphire solitaire stone surrounded by a stunning halo that is structured from old mine cut diamonds. The fine sapphires are both GIA certified and are well matched with an incredibly rich and deep blue color that brings such a desirable look to the pair, and are certified as having no indications of heat treatment. The sapphires are each a nice large size, totaling approximately 3.65 carats in weight, and they are wonderfully complemented by the remarkable amount of brilliance reflecting from the diamonds for an absolutely glamorous look. The halo is accented with one diamond neatly set above, in which adds a truly lovely touch to their elegant design, and they attach to the ear with a curved post and lever back. These earrings are the absolute definition for a true antique piece, they are in an all original condition with patina preserved in which gives the yellow gold its rosy yellow appearance.
