Citrine Amethyst Fly Insect Earrings Victorian Antique Gold Pearl
About the Item
This is a wonderful pair of rare antique Fly Insect Earrings in Gold with gorgeous Citrine and Amethyst gems with
Pearl accents. The Victorian - Edwardian jewels are beautifully made with an oval faceted Amethyst and oval faceted Citrine making up the bodies of the flies. The flies are further adorned with lovely seed pearls. The earrings are 9 Karat Gold. This whimsical pair dance delightfully from the ears. The Victorians adored their insect jewels and these earrings are some of the most charming we have seen. The beautiful colors of the gems and the delicate dancing forms of the insects create magical jewels.
The citrine fly earring is 28mm long. The fly is 13mm tall by 14mm wide.
The amethyst earring is 25mm long. The fly is 12mm tall by 10mm wide.
The earrings are 9 Karat Gold.
