About the Item
These Fig cocktail earrings are made of 18 karat white gold with detachable 11 mm Tahitian black pearls and two diamonds. The earrings by the artist were featured in Vogue UA review. We use top natural diamonds VS, F-G, we work with german gems company, that in the market since 19th century.
The sweet idea of a favourite fruit together with shining gold make this piece a contemporary jewel or a jewel by the artist, while the simplicity of the lines still make it look classy. The baroque pearls work always to achieve more elegance, to a strict black dress they will add classic touch, and the jeans they shift to more sparkle attitude.
Sugar fig fruit is an equivalent of the bible forbidden apples, the fig leaves are the only clothes for the first humans in the garden of paradise. Fig is one of the sacred trees in the ancient myths, symbolises a peace, fertility, generosity and the richness of life. Dark purple ripe sweet figs are the source of inspiration for the artist Polya Medvedeva, for her oil painting or jewellery ideas.

One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
