The top part of the earring is formed of a special cut of pear shape flat checkered cut ruby in bezel gold setting adjoining each other creating a leaf design of the earring. The outer gold on the earring gallery is covered with a thin line of red enamel work, making the look more articulate. The bottom half of the earring is formed by solitaire south sea pear drop pearls with two smaller pearls on the side and a bigger pearl in the center, held securely by a small gold cap on top and bottom.
