About the Item
A fine pair of Chinese gold & jade earrings.
In 14k yellow gold and green jade (nephrite).
From "new" old stock from a jewelry store that closed in the 1970s.
Each consisting of a jade teardrop suspended from a jade sphere with gold earbacks.
The gold that connects the teardrop and sphere is in the form of the Chinese character 福, which means 'good fortune' and is often used as an auspicious symbol.
Simply a wonderful pair of Chinese jade earrings!
