Dimos 22k Gold Ancient Greek God of Love "Eros" Earrings
About the Item
EROS (God of love) earrings. Majestic pair of earrings set in 22 karats gold inspired of the original necklace of the mid-4th century BC found in the excavation at Macedonia area where was the Palace of King Philip King of the Macedonians and father of Alexander the Great and was for he’s wife Olympia. The necklace is exhibited in the archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki ( Second largest city of Greece). A longer earring decorated with acanthus leaves spirals and EROS in the center. Perhaps this is where the famous saying fits, one picture a million words.
