1950s 5 Carat Diamond and Platinum Earrings

About the Item

A stunning pair of vintage 1950s 5 carat diamond and platinum drop earrings; part of our diverse diamond jewelry and estate jewelry collections. These stunning, fine and impressive vintage 1950s diamond earrings have been crafted in platinum. The earrings are each ornamented with a feature transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond, a 0.49Ct and a 0.46Ct, individually six claw set in relief. Each earring is embellished with a curvilinear row of twelve baguette cut diamonds. Seven marquise cut and a further six transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds ornament each earring. The earrings secure to the reverse with a French latch and post fastening, struck to the hinge with the maker's mark. These vintage 1950s earrings have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. The earrings are supplied with two independent diamond grading certificates for the feature diamonds in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual color and showcases each stone. Condition These stunning vintage drop earrings are exceptional quality set with very high color graded diamonds, displaying a fine white color, brilliance and presence. The earrings are an exceptional gauge of platinum and are in excellent condition. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of diamond jewelry/estate jewelry.
