Diamond Stud Earrings 14k White Gold Estate Jewelry

About the Item

A pair of diamond stud earrings made of 14k white gold. Diamonds are radiant cut in four-prong settings. It’s a classic and popular choice for earrings. The size and quality of the gemstones is what makes these earrings stand out. Radiant cut diamonds combine the elegance of the emerald cut with the sparkle of the round brilliant cut. They are square or rectangular in shape with trimmed corners. This cut looks stunning in solitaire settings and earrings. The four-prong setting, also known as a "solitaire setting," is one of the most common ways to secure a diamond. Each stone is set in an individual four-pronged basket, allowing maximum visibility from all sides. The prongs are like tiny claws holding the diamond at its girdle, which is the widest part of the stone. This setting provides a secure hold while allowing ample light to enter and exit the stone, enhancing its brilliance and sparkle. The diamond studs are made of 14 karat white gold and feature two radiant cut diamonds. One diamond is 5.12-carat, L color, VS2 clarity. The other diamond is 5.02-carat, L color, VS1 clarity. Both diamonds come with GIA Diamond Grading Reports (please see pictures 3 and 4). The Diamond stud earrings measure 5/8" x 3/8" (1.7 x 1 cm) and weigh 4.2 grams. About Estate Jewelry Estate jewelry is an excellent way to buy high-quality pieces at a fair price. Those who appreciate classic or one-of-a-kind pieces prefer purchasing estate jewelry for a wide range of styles and historical influences. Some pre-owned pieces, particularly those from well-known designers, appreciate in value over time. They can become valuable collectors' items and potential investment pieces. Buying jewelry online can be challenging. The quality of the making has not got better over time while the design is getting more and more generic. Add ever rising prices and you could end up not finding anything suitable. To purchase a high-quality jewelry piece for an obtainable price consider buying estate items. • Quality vs Quantity Estate pieces mostly belong to the era when jewels were handmade and not mass produced. There were simply less jewelry makers at that time and they cared about their reputation. Opposed to the current fast fashion approach, life pace was in general slower. That allowed makers to take more time to craft a truly quality piece. • Fair price vs Overpriced Designer pieces, aka signed pieces, can cost multiple times more than their unsigned equivalents. We pay not only for an item itself but also for the brand advertising campaigns and all the buzz the name creates. Prices for estate jewelry form differently and mostly depend on the cost paid by a seller. A pre-owned Bulgari ring and a brand-new Bulgari piece have a significant price difference. Ask your local jewelry store about the retail price of the desired piece and you’ll be pleasantly surprised. • True Value vs Seasonal Rush Pre-owned jewelry retains its value as over time it gets unique and sought-after. Think about purchasing a new car that loses its value right after you leave your dealer versus buying a vintage vehicle. At Nadine Krakov Collection we are in love with all the things beautiful. Each of our estate jewelry pieces is in excellent condition. We preserve the history and the greatest styles of the past so our clients can enjoy it to the fullest.

The era’s name was inherited from Queen Victoria who reigned during that time. Her significant input shaped the jewelry style of that time. To navigate in such a vast period, historians divide it into following parts: • The Early Victorian or Romantic • The Middle of Grand Victorian • The Late or Aesthetic Victorian Era Different materials, gemstones and techniques were popular specifically for each era. Some styles though remained in favor longer than during just one period. For instance, hair jewelry made its way through Romantic to Grand period. Snake and animal motifs were also in demand throughout the era. • Early Victorian jewelry As to the Queen influence, Romantic Period jewelry had well pronounced sentimental vibes. It was the time when young Queen Victoria was in love with her husband, Prince Albert. And the whole nation admired their relationship. Cameos, matching brooches, miniature portraits and lockets reflected the likeness of loved ones. After Albert’s passing in 1861, the Early Victorian Period ended, and The Grand era began. • Grand Victorian jewelry After the incandescent bulb invention in 1870s, diamond jewelry started thriving like never before. Diamonds, being placed under the electric light, revealed their dazzling nature and looked truly fascinating. Besides Victorian diamond jewelry...
