These fig earrings are three-dimensional, made of sterling silver and adorned with frosted blue quartzes. They complement sun-kissed skin and enhance the face with delicate color flashes. This designer jewelry piece is handcrafted and belongs to a limited edition collection. It was featured in the June issue of Vogue UA with smoky quartzes and was selected by actress Anne Ratte-Polle for the 64th Berlinale Film Festival red carpet.
These blue quartz fruit sculptures are unique, representing the sweetest southern figs growing on elegant twig-like silver stems with long needles and leaves. These figs typically have a tender green-beige tone when unripe and turn to a dusty dark purple-black when ripe, often dripping with sugary juice in the sun, unless devoured by birds, sloths, or monkeys. Therefore, this model is also available in rose gold with frosted amethysts.
The precise and elegant needles symbolize the traditional calligraphy principle of "lines and spots" and represent the sharp lines of order and accuracy. Combined with transparent frosted matte gems, they create the perfect accent for these contemporary earrings. The fig tree is one of the sacred trees in ancient myths.
