This contemporary pair of earrings from the Freesia collection features handcrafted quartz flowers set in sterling silver. The collection was designed by Polya Medvedeva, an oil painter from Berlin, and was even featured in Vogue UA magazine.
The Freesia Flower collection is inspired by the elegant shape and rich citrus scent of the Freesia flower. Her inspiration is rooted in the aesthetic theories of Xie He, a Chinese theorist from the 5th century. Her designer jewelry combines the precise work of professional fine jewelers with a rich history of being in the market since the 19th century, along with new sculptural ideas by the artist herself. Polya's pieces are featured in Vogue UA, Harper’s Bazaar UA, Another magazine UK, and other publications. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
