Oxidised / Bright Sterling Silver "Cascade" Pierced Earrings
About the Item
These earrings are designed and made by UK jeweler Sarah Pulvertaft. Adorning the bottom edge of the oxidised sterling silver half-circle are many individual mini cubes in a bright sterling silver. Moveable cubes, each capturing the reflection of light differently, are the signature of Sarah's very original style.
Sarah uses traditional jewelry making techniques to create unique, handmade fine jewelry with a twist. Using repeated and kinetic elements she creates undulating and rippling surfaces, embuing each piece with a playful quality.
The work of jewelry maker Sarah Pulvertaft has been selected by internationally renowned contemporary jewelry expert and curator Bryna Pomp who searches the world for outstanding precious metal jewelry that defines contemporary through its innovative design and craftsmanship.
