About the Item
These modern earrings are part of a jewellery collection designed by Polya Medvedeva, an oil painter and jewellery artist from Berlin. The earrings were featured in a review by Vogue UA and were chosen for the red carpet of the 64th Berlinale Film Festival by actress Anne Ratte-Polle.
Made of 14 karat white gold, the earrings are encrusted with 6 round diamonds and feature a lock to add extra removable drops of emeralds or other gems, which can be taken on or off. This makes these earrings versatile, and later on, the gems can be added to turn the earrings into the cocktail version. The diamonds are top natural diamonds with VS clarity and F-G color, sourced from a reputable German gems company that has been in the market since the 19th century.
These earrings suit best to classic, dramatic, romantic, and natural faces according to the Kibbe test.
The sculptural design provides an extra shiny surface for the flowers and a subtle play of shadow and light. The diamonds add delicate blinks to the earrings, and the cabochon drops are open for the light.
The plum flowers symbolize the energy of life, as they are one of the earliest trees to blossom in winter.
