These contemporary Magnolia Flower stud earrings are crafted in 18 karat yellow gold with storm purple cushion spinels totaling approximately 3 carats. The tender water-like surface of the spinel reflects light beautifully, creating a mirrored effect on the golden petals.
The piece was designed by oil painter Polya Medvedeva and has been meticulously crafted to look perfect from all angles, which required many hours of work in 3D to achieve the final shape.
Magnolia is one of the oldest flowers on earth, and therefore combines the symbolism of all flowers. Its unique and beautiful shape strikes a balance between symmetry and asymmetry, order and chaos.
