Perfect pear shaped approximately twenty carat blue topaz Brazilian fancy cut stone, sometimes referred to as a tear drop shape.
The legend of origin is marrying a marquise shape with a round brilliant shape resulting in a pear shaped stone. This cutting style originated over 500 years ago with the first invention of a stone polishing wheel.
