We have over 43 years in fine colored gemstones in the trade - and our gemstones are frequently published in trade journals, books on gemstones, magazines (international and domestic), newspaper articles and other websites using our photos of our gemstones to represent their species, unique/fine cutting, unique pieces, etc. 7.69ct Incredibly Vivid glowing Blue with some Purple, Pear Shaped Tanzanite. Perfect for a ring or pendant when it it worn. Don't miss out on this Pricing. An 8ct Tanzanite with a lighter color retails for about $16,000 as shown in the screen grab from online. (From a major mounting company that also sells gemstones to the trade - the price displayed is Retail) Photos don't do this justice. This is the best of a small parcel that we picked up earlier in the year - prices are expected to increase on these fine Tanzies, if they haven't already. Under consideration, but still available - a store in New England has seen this piece and desires to create that is something special for the holidays. They are considering a pendant - but as noted, a ring would be great also. It was my recommendation that it wouldn't hurt to have another piece from this parcel so that a ring and pendant combo could be created and perhaps the same person would make the purchase of both as it could be a set - but in any case, if one is sold, they would still have another wonderfully deep fine quality Tanzanite in inventory to attract attention. This particular Tanzanite puts most others on the market to shame - and it is a relatively small gemstones without having to be very large (and therefore much more costly). The first photo is perhaps the most accurate in color, but many gemstones, such as this one, are difficult to photograph and obtain the accurate color that the eye sees.
