Natural turquoise set in each scalloped link of this Navajo belt was possibly made for a Native American Child. Adult men and women wore large linked chunky belts. Ours has a web of engraving on the artist signed clasp and circular patterns around each diamond shaped setting of turquoise. The links are solid and firmly secured to one another by hand made circles. The belt can be worn as a necklace as well. Condition of the silver and of the turquoise is perfect. Made and purchased in Santa Fe in the early 1980's by yours truly. Length 32 inches. Each small link is 1 inch in width and 1/2 inch high. The clasp is a tad under 2 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches high.
