Handcrafted sterling silver separating large nurses belt buckle with mirrored intricate cut silver design. Elaborately carved cutwork design depicting an ancient roman scene at center of buckle pieces; ornate intricate scrollwork and hammered metalwork border around scenes. Smooth backside with fixed bars at center back of buckle pieces; interlocking hook buckle closure at flat edges of pieces. “JS” makers mark for Samuel Jacob of London at outer edge of buckle pieces; full London made sterling silver lion figure hallmark with “C” date letter for 1898 at outer edge of buckle pieces next to makers mark. Photographed on belt for style reference, belt not included with purchase.
