About the Item
This elegant Art Deco necklace features hand-faceted natural amethyst beads, each expertly cut to maximize brilliance and color. The beads graduate in size from approximately 5.7mm to 10.5mm and display a stunning lavender hue with flashes of blue and red—hallmarks of the finest amethyst material of the era.
The color tone is particularly evocative of 1920s Parisian jewelry design, when pale violet and lavender amethyst was in vogue among avant-garde jewelers. France may well be the origin of this refined strand.
