About the Item
This Mala necklace is made of dark matt lapis lazuli, black onyx, matching dumortierite, Tahitian pearls, and matt poppy jasper. It is incrusted with 18 karat white gold beads with diamonds (top F/G, SI). It has a silky dark blue brush. It has traditional 108 8 mm beads, and 5 extra different size beads.
We work with german gems company, that is in the market since 19th century.
The first jewellery collection came to mind to Polya on Vipassana retreat. As many pieces of the author, this piece is inspired by world religions. It can be custom made with the gems chosen for the individual astrological chart.

At Polya Medvedeva Jewellery, we carefully craft our pieces with high-quality craftsmanship and ethical production standards. Polya Medvedeva launched her contemporary jewelry line in 2010. She lives and works as an oil painter in Berlin, Germany. Her inspiration is rooted in the aesthetic theories of Xie He, a Chinese theorist from the 5th century. Her designer jewelry combines the precise work of professional fine jewelers with a rich history of being in the market since the 19th century, along with new sculptural ideas by the artist herself. Polya's pieces are featured in Vogue UA, Harper’s Bazaar UA, Another magazine UK, and other publications. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
