Edwardian 9ct Yellow Gold Albert Watch Chain, 41.6 grams

About the Item

An Edwardian 9ct yellow gold curb link double albert watch chain, with T-bar. Assay: - .375 (9 carat gold). Period: - Early 20th century. Date: - 1905. Maker: - George Edward Gee. Engraving: - None. Measurement: - 16 7/16 inches (41.8cm) from end to end. The links measures approximately 5.8mm (width). Weight: - 41.6 grams. Condition: - The 9ct albert chain is in good condition. The chain is stamped '9', '.375' to each of the curb links, the T bar, and the dog clips. The chain, and the T bar are stamped with the makers mark 'G.E.G'. The makers marks to the dog clips are rubbed. The Birmingham assay mark, and date letter 'f' for 1905 is stamped to one of the links. The links display minor surface scratches, and wear commensurate with age. Please see photographs for confirmation of condition. Item No: - 2307_drw1.
