A multi colour sapphire necklace, the twenty four assorted cushion-cut, pastel coloured sapphires, weighing 47.1cts cut-down set in yellow to white gold collets separated by white gold chain suspensions with seed pearl set swags, to a cushion shaped blue sapphire clasp, hallmarked 18ct gold, London 2012, bearing Bentley and Skinner sponsor mark, measuring approximately 44x0.8cm, gross weight 35 grams.
This stunning multi-colour sapphire collar necklace was made by Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. This Victorian-style necklace features two rows of white gold chains, between which are held twenty-four cushion-cut sapphires mounted in yellow to white gold collets. The sapphires range in colour from light blue to white to pale pink and yellow. The pastel colours of the stones are complemented by the seed pearls set to the lower section of chain. Elegant and striking, this necklace would perfectly accompany a low-necked evening gown.
