This masterpiece, designed and brought to life by the multi award-winning jeweller himself, seamlessly blends tarnish-resistant sterling silver with lavish 18K gold highlights.
The focal point of the pendant is the swinging top plate, fashioned in the form of a stylized leaf adorned with texture and 24K yellow gold gilding. At the base, a captivating 22pt F SI1 diamond is chenier set in 18ct yellow gold, adding a touch of brilliance to the organic design.
Turning to the back plate, it takes the shape of a triangle with small side wings, featuring a burnt orange hard enamel centre and a textured edge for a burst of color and visual interest. The top bale, where the "Swing" is attached to the back plate, showcases Paul Amey's signature molten edge, adding a distinctive touch to the overall design.
Measuring 60mm in length and 24mm in width, the "Swing" pendant hangs gracefully from a 3mm neoprene tube capped in sterling silver, which is 60mm in length. This is attached to an 18ct yellow gold chain measuring 38.6cm in length (total length 44.6cm), ensuring a perfect balance of movement and style. The total weight of the pendant is 18.9 grams, making it a substantial and eye-catching piece.
Designed and handcrafted in Australia, this enamel pendant bears the stamp of Paul Amey's registered maker's mark and precious metal marks, guaranteeing its authenticity. Completed with over 16 hours of labor in November 2022, each component is masterfully handcrafted by Paul Amey without the use of casting or 3D imaging. The diamond and neoprene settings showcase the jeweller's skill, making the "Swing" enamel pendant a true embodiment of artistry and luxury.

Paul Amey Jeweller
PAUL AMEY is an ARTIST, DESIGNER, MASTER GOLDSMITH and a fellow of the Gold & Silversmiths Guild of Australia. Paul Amey was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia with one grandfather a watchmaker, the other a jeweller. Jewellery was obviously in his blood! Paul has been a designer and manufacturing jeweller for over 50 years and is well renowned for his work in creating and producing beautiful high-quality jewellery with a dramatic flair completely by hand. Paul is still passionate about designing and producing special pieces. “I have fun with jewellery and so should customers - I give people choices they don’t get from other jewellers.” Paul has seen a great number of design changes and influences come and go, but he says “the fundamentals have always remained the same skilful design, excellent craftsmanship and an attention to detail.” Like the masters of old, using time-honoured techniques, he is creating modern masterpieces. “Each custom piece is crafted completely by hand, no computers, no mass production. My pieces are absolute original works of art, whether they be made from silver, gold or platinum.” Paul has a strong desire and flair for dramatic pieces, an early example being the making of the perpetual Western Australian Gold Swan Award. Also in recognition of his hand craftsmanship was the acceptance of his work by Sotheby's under its Art Category and recently being the recipient of two Precious Metal Awards.
