The interchangeable necklace is made of steel, as you scroll through the pictures of the next series of listings, you will find the same mesh necklace plated in gold. the purpose, was to create a necklace where the center stones are interchangeable, so you would only have to buy one necklace and have access to many different stones for the center. At the moment, the 5 center stones that will be illustrated are oval, some with a gold color necklace and some with the steel color necklace. Presently, the other sample necklace called raspberry, is only available in steel color. The five sample stones that are made so far, are The Rutile Quartz illustrated here, Amethyst, Rose de France Amethyst, Green Amethyst, and Yellow Quartz. The stones vary slightly in price and so our challenge as we fill in the line, is to create more colors at similar prices. We are now working with different shapes for the center, BUT WE CAN CUT ANY STONE, IN ANY SHAPE. Special orders require 4-5 weeks and the prices will vary based on the rough material. An estimated cost will always be provided with any special order and that will be delivered within 5 days. Either Translucent stone as illustrated or non translucent such as Lapis, Jasper, or moss agate will also be available. You will be able to create your own look! This Rutile Quartz center stone weighs 14.3 grams and exhibits a large amount of needles within the stone, thereby creating its individuality and beauty. It is outfitted with a steel interchangeable system and therefore could be easily made with either the mesh necklace or the raspberry one. The necklaces can be purchased separately as well as the selection of stones. A VERY LIGHT PUSH ON THE END OF THE NECKLACE WILL OPEN EITHER END.
