About the Item
An exceptional late Victorian silver and gold, old cut and rose cut diamond crescent brooch that we have transformed into a delicate necklace. Suspended on a fixed silver chain, the design features a central floral motif set with an excellent old cut diamond, with rose cut diamonds in the surrounding leafs.
This incredible piece circa 1880s has been carefully and lovingly restored. The beauty and originality of the Victorian design remain at the heart of this diamond necklace. Now with a contemporary feel, and repurposed with a modern edge by Fleur Fairfax.

- Condition:Additions or alterations made to the original: This crescent brooch has been converted to a necklace on fixed silver 16" trace chain. Silver jump rings have been added to each side of the original brooch. These alterations were done in Hatton Garden, London by Fleur Fairfax's master-crafts team. Wear consistent with age and use. This late Victorian crescent brooch has been converted to a necklace on a new fixed silver 16" trace chain. Small silver jump rings have been added to each side of the original brooch where the chain is fixed.
