You are sure to be charmed by this handsome vintage Art Deco era 9ct gold Albert chain.
It is an open curb link chain in rich 9ct gold with both rosey and yellow gold tones but a mostly yellow gold hue, each link individually stamped for 9ct gold, 9.375.
A double Albert with an attractive and always sought after open curb link, adjoined in the centre with a large jump ring with an added Victorian era Bloodstone and Carnelian fob in 9ct yellow gold.
A classic staple for any jewellery collection, these chains never go out of style and are as wearable today as they were back then.
Perfect for showcasing your favourite antique pocket or fob watch or wearing as a necklace.
This chain has been previously polished so is a high shine gold and is truly a beautiful piece with lovely crisp marks and a good weight.
The fob was at one time a swivel fob however it has been fixed in position.
This would make a beautiful gift for someone Special or as a treat for yourself!
Marks and era:
Art Deco era, c1930s, Stamped on each link for 9ct gold 9.375, fob fully hallmarked for 9ct gold, Birmingham assay, 1897.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some surface wear commensurate with age, general signs of use, has been previously polished, nice clear marks, fob with some minor nibbles to the stones and a little wear to the gold bezel frame.
Total approx collective weight 42.33 grams.
