Custom 1980s Pat Areias Citrine & Handwrought Silver Tri-Strand Choker
About the Item
Handcrafted in the early 1980s by multi-generational designer, Pat Areias out of her Carmel By The Sea based design studio.
Using a jewelry saw, Areias utilizes handwrought .925 silver, approx. 180 carats of rough cut Citrine beads, constructed in a layered, tri-strand, Art Deco style, affixed to a 22.5 carat brilliant center Citrine.
Each piece of Pat Areias's artistry is hand rendered, one by one. As such, they may be similar, but they are not the same. “The essence of hand fabrication," Areias says, “is that every piece is made by an artisan as an original."
