Unique and Lovely Mid-20th Century Cocktail Necklace in Turquoise and Diamonds

About the Item

This lovely and feminine, Mid-20th Century 18k yellow gold, hand crafted cocktail necklace is positively characteristic of the most interesting and creative items from the period. A large Persian turquoise cabochon is the centerpiece and is flanked by a slightly tapering line of twisted rope navette shaped gold links with clusters of turquoise cabochons and diamonds artistically positioned throughout. Total approximate diamond weight is 4.25ct and overall quality is F/G color and VS1-2 clarity. Measures 16 inches long by just under and inch at the widest point in the front. The only marking on the necklace is an obscure makers mark. Tests 18k gold. Gross weight 107.65 grams.
