This stunning, fine and impressive antique cabochon cut moonstone necklace has been crafted in 12k yellow gold with a vintage 9k yellow gold trace chain.
The pendant displays seven, individually displayed, claw / prong set cabochon cut moonstones.
The central design consists of two moonstone ornamented linear settings suspended from the central, horizontally held moonstone.
A single linear drop with a claw / prong set moonstone terminal is suspended and articulates from each of the two outer horizontal moonstone settings.
The pendant drop and link arrangement has been sympathetically combined with a hallmarked vintage 9k yellow gold 40.64cm/16" trace chain (1986) which secures with a conventional spring loaded bolt ring fastening.
The replacement chain is hallmarked to the clasp with the Sheffield import mark, the 9k yellow gold fineness mark 375 and date letter for 1986 (M).
The pendant link arrangement has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 12k gold.

This is a rare antique Victorian Snake Necklace with a Heart Locket Pendant hanging from its mouth. The snake necklace dating to circa 1840. The snake head and heart are set with four spectacular Rose Cut Diamonds of great beauty. The eyes are round cabochon Garnets of a wonderful color. The snake and heart are adorned with vivid royal blue enamel. The necklace is 14 - 16 Karat gold. The gold work on the snake is dramatic and very special. The gold around the eyes, on the head, and around the heart is in an acanthus leaf motif creating a magical nature inspired jewel. The snake link chain is just gorgeous and evokes the body of the snake beautifully. And snake necklaces are all the rage - Oscars 2023!
The necklace is 17 inches long. It is in superb condition. The clasp is a later addition which extends the length of the necklace to a wearable length.

This stunning, fine and impressive antique necklace has been crafted in 15k yellow gold.
The feature setting has a floriated paired leaf design, ornamented to the center with a cabochon cut crystal.
A further two cabochon cut crystals are displayed to the terminal of two asymmetrical pair leaf design linear drops.
Each crystal is ornamented with a seed pearl set diagonal band.
The floriated setting is embellished with a total of one hundred and sixty-seven pavé and bezel set seed pearls, varying in size depending on position.
The necklace chain is composed of one hundred and three individual seed pearl set links, securing to the reverse with a rectangular push fit fastening.
The necklace benefits from the addition security of a fine link safety chain.
This antique Victorian pearl and crystal necklace is fitted to the original leatherette, satin and velvet lined push fit presentation case.
The necklace has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15k gold.
