"Costis" Seahorse Necklace with an 1.77 carats Pink Sapphire on the animal's tail and a 0.11 carats Diamond on its eye.
This piece features Costis' s impeccable Italian craftsmanship, 18K Rose Gold. It is accompanied on a matching 18K Rose Gold chain, 50cm long.
The Seahorse figure is the emblem of "Costis Fine Jewelry". It is a trademark that it is internationally registered, but most important it is the reason that Costis chose it to represent his jewelry. And finally, also made a piece of jewel out of it.
The Seahorse is the only male creature that carries his babies to term, so it is only natural to be considered a symbol for originality. Moreover, the fact that their body surface resembles to armor, and that each one carries its own distinctive “crown”, as unique as the human fingerprint, makes them a synonym for protection and uniqueness. Because of these reasons, as well as how rare it is to actually meet a seahorse, so many artists, even from ancient years, have considered seahorses to be mythical creatures…
So it is only natural, that the Seahorse represents Costis, the male bearer of his "children", the pieces of jewelry, with each one being completely unique, Then, this pieces of jewelry assume a different meaning to every person wearing them.
