About the Item
A Italian Artist Studio designed this rare, sculptural Avant-Garde collar necklace in the 1980s. The stunning pendant necklace features a tubular black rubber neckband with a hidden clasp on the inside, concealed within the chromed metal rings on the front. The spectacular choker features a gorgeous acrylic resin or Lucite asymmetric pendant, all carved and textured in shades of transparent pink to light purple-gray. The pendant is fully rotating on its axis and will be a versatile addition to any outfit. The large-scale medallion is attached to the neckband with a geometric chromed metal two-wire.
The one-of-a-kind necklace has a signature on the underside reading: TH - 88 - 1/1. The jewelry artist handcrafted this unique art jewelry piece in 1988. So far, the maker remains a mystery, offering an exciting opportunity for discovery.
Measurements: The around-the-neck circumference is 15.75 in (40 cm) - the pendant is 6.32 in high (16 cm) x 3.94 in wide (10 cm). The necklace is best suited for a medium-sized neck of 14.19 in circumference (36 cm).
