Drop Necklace made in Taxco.
Great necklace, created in the silver town of Taxco in Mexico before the 1948. This statement necklace has been crafted in solid .925/.999 sterling silver with organic designs and fitted with a bended hook as a security lock. The design is composed by eight flat links and two depicting hands. Decorated with elements carved from natural purple amethysts.
Amethysts: Mounted in bezels and prongs settings, with 5 fancy cut pieces carved from amethysts. Two round cabochon cut and three in the shape of tulips flowers with a combined weight of about 43 carats.
Weight: 87.80 Grams, (56.28 Dwt).
Measurements: Length of 18 Inches (45.75 Cm) and the drop element is 65 mm by 50 mm (2.56 x 1.97 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the silver and signed, "MEXICO STERLING".
Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to any silver parts.This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
