Natural Pink Tourmaline Necklace, circa 1880
About the Item
A rare natural pink tourmaline necklace from the end of 19th century. Necklace has 33 pear cut tourmalines with a total weight of 65 cts. The stones are in open back silver settings.
The largest center tourmaline is 15 mm x 10 mm. Stones color naturally varies with some tourmalines being lighter or darker. Necklace has great sparkling effect due to stones cut. Chain and settings are silver, clasp is gold filled.
Great antique condition, stones have imperfections and crackling natural to its age and use.
