Art Deco Lorgnette with Chain
About the Item
Art Deco Lorgnette With 26" Chain. These lorgnette glasses are incised with scrolls and such along the entire body inside and out. Stamped 14K, they currently have 2x magnification, but they can be switched out for higher magnification or your own prescription. This lovely piece is put on an 18K Italian filigree 26" chain, which can also be doubled and worn shorter.
I love to wear lorgnettes to flea markets and the like, as it is so convenient not to have to put my reading glasses on and off, hold them in my hand, or reach back and forth into my purse. Lovely decorative piece with function.
Closed this measures 2" x 1 3/4" open 9" x 2" chain 28" long
