About the Item
Indulge in a rare and wonderful Theodor Fahrner Necklace with Blue Enamel and Lapis Lazuli in a coral sea motif design in Sterling Silver. This magnificent necklace is made up of 11 links featuring light and darker blue enamel with a gold scroll design and two Lapis Lazuli stones per link. Each link is 7/8" long x 1/2" wide. The necklace evokes the wonder of the sea with its blue enamel, coral motif designs and lapis lazuli cabochons. The necklace is signed TF, the Theodor Fahrner mark.
Theodor Fahrner (4 August 1859 – 22 July 1919) was a jewelry designer from Pforzheim, Germany. Fahrner was renowned for his Art Nouveau and Jugendstil jewels and particularly for his exquisite use of enamel. This extremely fine necklace is a museum quality piece by Fahrner. His jewels are collected around the world and embody the nature inspired visions of the finest Art Nouveau and Jugendstil pieces.
Stamp: TF (brand mark) 935 for Sterling Silver.
