Vintage 1940's Necklace Diamond 18 Karat Gold Platinum Yellow Gold Rose Gold
About the Item
This stunning Retro necklace has been made out of 18 Karat gold in the late 1940's. Cone shaped elements of various sizes have been connected to make up this faboulous piece of jewellery. The front of the necklace is designed as a series of half cones joined together like the construction of a medieval armour. The centre piece is designed as a stylized heart with two wings from which five tassels made out of articulated segments of golden pipes, each terminating in platinum set diamonds. The edges of all half cones are decorated with platinum rims set with diamonds. The platinum wings with pierced design are set with diamonds.
The necklace is unmarked but stays at 18 karat gold when acid tested. The weight of the diamonds is 2.5 Carat ca.
