This incredible Amythyst Sautoir Necklace features a myriad of delightful materials and workmanship. The natural amethyst beads take centre stage in varying shapes and sizes also faceted and un-faceted. The faux pearls add a wonderful contrast alongside the amethyst. The filigree metal gilded caps and beads are just wonderful and an absolute work of art. The attention to detail from the natural amethyst to the micro beading on the tassels is simply outstanding in this piece of jewellery dating to around the 1920s. This Amethyst Sautoir Necklace measures an astounding approx. 164cm in length including the tassels. Thus it can be worn loose, tied or wrapped and tied. A stunning piece of jewellery.
