AJD Two Strand Iridescent Mauve Pearl Necklace with Goldy Accents
About the Item
Elegant two strand, 23 & 25 inch, necklace of mauve iridescent Pearls with frosted goldy accents. These lovely Pearls have orange flashes as well as some pink. They are 10 MM and some have beauty marks and are off round, however, their color and flash are extraordinary. The two strands sit one inside the other at 23 and 25 inches and are secured with a large easy to use gold dura plate hook and eye. Pearls are Mother Nature’s gift from the Sea. They are organic gemstones formed inside either freshwater or saltwater mollusks. The type of mollusk producing the pearl influences the body color. Most mollusks have been assisted by the insertion of a bit natural material inserted into its shell around which it can lay down layers of nacre. These cultured pearls come in a variety of natural colors including gold, white, gray, black, and blue. Then they have the lovely iridescent hues of all the rainbow colors. Pearls can also be bleached and dyed to create just about any color you desire. Pearls are soft and absorbent so be gentle with them. They are the traditional June birthstone as well as gifts for brides. MN2104
