About the Item
Garnets were popular in the 19th c and maybe they will be sometime in the future.. But today not. That is why a piece like this can be bought at such a low price.
The craftsmanship of this piece is just wonderful. If you would count the hours the smith had to spend to make this he would make a couple of cents an hour.
It is made of silver with hundreds of garnets encrusted. Its a beauty and would look great together with any modern clothing. The contrast between the somewhat Victorian feeling of this together with jeans and a T-shirt would be just smashing.
