About the Item
The perfect gift for the writer or scribe in your life, we’ve added a bail and jump ring to this 14k gold pen nib so that it can be worn as a charm or pendant. The pen nib was used in the days when dipping a pen in ink was the norm, so having a nice tip to your pen was a must. This one is split down the middle so that the ink could flow through it, but has a tiny heart detail that we love! The number on the pen nib indicated the size of the pen. This one is marked 24. It is also engraved with “Eversharp” as well as “14k” and “Made in USA”. Ready to hang on the chain of your choice.
The pendant measures 1” x 5/16”, plus an additional 5 mm bail. It weighs .48 grams. Marked as 14k gold. Circa 1930’s or 1940’s.
