The idea for this collection came from Berlin-based artist Polya Medvedeva, who was inspired by the sweet and fresh fragrances of figs. The collection has become a symbol for anyone who loves fragrances or sunny places where figs grow. The design of the shining gold fig pendant makes it a contemporary piece of jewelry, while the simplicity of its lines and the large dark gemstone give it a grungy look.
In ancient myths, the fig tree is considered a sacred tree. The sugar fig fruit was also known as the forbidden fruit in the Bible, and fig leaves were used as the first clothing for humans in the Garden of Paradise.

One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
