About the Item
Inspired by the Japanese Maneki Neko welcoming Cat, Alison has reimagined this beloved symbol of a charming, happy, lucky, and inviting/beckoning cat in a variety of sizes, gemstones, and metals.
Alison challenged herself and succeeded to make The Hope Cat as a hollow one piece casting with a designed bottom grille. Her finger is on the highest technology to produce her jewelry. Making the Hope Collection a comfortable weight was essential. The Hope Collection is copyrighted as are all of Alison's designs.
An element that identifies Alison's designs in general is her appealing matte finish with polished accents as well as 18K Green gold (shines like the sun). The Hope Cat is fully in the round and most of the body is matte with the facial features (eyes, whiskers, mouth, nose and tail) polished for contrast.
