Antique Gold Locket
9ct Yellow Gold Back & Front Stamped
*The term gold front & back is often used to describe antique gold lockets which have a front back made from gold.
The gold front and back are applied to a base metal frame or sometimes sterling silver.
The supporting frame of the locket and hinge are base metal.
Circa 1880
Lovely, Victorian locket. Oval shaped with pretty hand engraved paisley pattern & shield on the front. The back has a leaf pattern & stamped for 9ct.
Measures Approx Height 30mm & Width Approx 19.5mm
