About the Item
Romantic and richly symbolic, this antique pendant (circa 1870) is masterfully crafted in the shape of a blossom. Formed from 14k gold, the hollow pendant is adorned with a finely detailed enameled rose at its center, symbolizing enduring love and beauty.
Measuring approximately 1.75 inches from the top of the bail to the bottom by 1.4 inches wide, and weighing 8.3 grams, this pendant is both bold and graceful, offering the presence of a true statement piece while retaining the delicacy and sentiment of a 19th-century jewel.
The gold has been confirmed via XRF and jeweler’s acid testing to ensure 14k gold purity. Originally an antique brooch, the piece remains in good condition with indentations on the reverse of the piece where the pin findings were removed. There are also some tiny holes on the reverse.
