Antique Pearl, Gold and Enamel Parrot Pendant

Likely created circa 1903-1907, this plique-à-jour enamel and natural pearl pendant brooch with chain by René Lalique is set in 18K gold. The modified triangular form, composed of chased 18K gold, centers two stalks of seaweed among pale green plique-à-jour enamel seawater, symmetrically bordered by rampant lions joined at the top at the tips of their tufted tails, the reverse counter enameled, suspending a natural saltwater pear-shape pear with rose tones.
